Health insurance is a necessary expenditure for everyone. Unfortunately, the skyrocketing cost of health care has lead to a large percentage of the population to skip health insurance coverage. As of this writing, approximately 46 million people do not have health insurance coverage. And 73% increase in premiums from 2000 to 2005 will probably see the uninsured population exploding, if the government does not pass a health care bill that minimizes the high cost of health care in this country. You would think that pressing issue  aught to be the priority of any president, and that they would want to bring relief to the masses even if they have to step on a few big corporate toes.
